It’s Hell Week at work, which means Daniel hasn’t seen Ryan in what feels like too long. A quiet weekend in is exactly what they need, and Daniel strives to make sure he’s exactly what Ryan needs.
This book was wonderful. You can truly see Daniel turn a corner when it comes to his feelings and the relationship. Being away from Ryan helped them both immensely. The tension threaded throughout the story as Daniel got more and more on edge for not seeing Ryan and the anticipation of what was going to happen when they could spend quality time together. Oh my gosh it was wonderfully written; you could feel it with Daniel! The scene they do after dinner is beautiful. You can see how deep Daniel goes and how much he trusts Ryan. Ryan keeps it simple with his wants but you can tell it’s exactly what he needs from Daniel. I liked how Ryan responded to Daniel during the scene and after. I love the progress Daniel and Ryan make in this story. I can’t wait to read the next one to find out what happens with them.
