Zeke’s beloved wood is due to be destroyed but before the bulldozers move in, he has one last trick up his sleeve. Then the developer’s son arrives, proves impossible to resist and it’s a complication Zeke doesn’t need.
This was such a cute story. I adored Zeke and Gideon. They were so good together even if their initial encounter was rocky at best. I loved Zeke’s passion for the woods by his house. There was a rich history that was wonderfully written and woven seamlessly into the story. Gideon was someone I wanted to just hug since his dad was such a jerk. But he was so sweet to Zeke once they started again. These two were fabulous together and I’m so glad they found their way. I would love to read a sequel with these two. I want to see how they make it long term.
Barbara Elsborg lives in Kent in the South of England. She always wanted to be a spy, but having confessed to everyone without them even resorting to torture, she decided it was not for her. Vulcanology scorched her feet. A morbid fear of sharks put paid to marine biology. So instead, she spent several years successfully selling cyanide.
After dragging up two rotten, ungrateful children and frustrating her sexy, devoted, wonderful husband (who can now stop twisting her arm) she finally has time to conduct an affair with an electrifying plugged-in male, her laptop.
Her books feature quirky heroines and bad boys, and she hopes they are as much fun to read as they were to write.
