Release Day Interview: Could You Love An Apple? by Becky Jerams (Love Stories Book 2)

Blurb:
Taylor Raven is starting over.

After a few difficult college years, he has decided to finally move away from Havensdale (and away from his father) to take a tennis coaching course in the tiny village of Westerfield.

The peaceful country life is exactly what Taylor needs to get away from it all. However, it is also incredibly lonely living by himself in the middle of nowhere. And no matter how far he runs, Taylor just can’t seem to escape the mistakes of his past.

As he struggles to find any kind of meaningful connection, he comes across a place on the outskirts of the village that will soon change everything. The Apple Inn – a pub run by a curious, slightly eccentric family who welcome Taylor into their world with open arms.

Soon Taylor finds his guard dropping, particularly around the kind and fun-loving son of the family, Benjamin Apple. But the closer Taylor gets, the more he feels compelled to pull away…

Can Taylor ever fall in love again when the one obstacle in his way… is himself?

Molly Reviews and Giveaway: How the Other Half Lives by Clare London (London Lads Book 2)

Blurb:
Compulsive neat freak meets chaotic slob: Can their living space survive the conflict?

Martin Harrison keeps himself to himself and his Central London flat as neat as a new pin. Maybe he should loosen up and enjoy more of a social life, but in his mind, that’s tantamount to opening the floodgates to emotional chaos. He agrees, however, to join the flat-sitting scheme in his building and look after another tenant’s flat in exchange for a similar watch over his when he’s travelling for his work.

A floor away in the same building, Russ McNeely is happy with his life as a freelance cook and a self-confessed domestic slob. He also joins the flat-sitting scheme, both to be neighbourly and to help keep his flat in order, as Russ also travels for his work.

For a while, the very dissimilar men never meet. Martin is horrified at the mess at Russ’s flat, while Russ finds Martin’s minimalist style creepy. But in a spirit of generosity, each of them starts to help the other out by rearranging things in their own inimitable way.

Until the day a hiccup in the schedule brings them face-to-face at last.

Her mango chutney is exquisite; her blueberry sauce is to die for. But right now, Chef de Cuisine Daisy Moon is a woman without a kitchen-and without a fiancé. Unceremoniously dumped from her place of business and her relationship, Daisy sells her belongings, plus a few of her ex’s, and packs her bags. Her sole job offer is from Wild Man Lodge…in Otter Bite, Alaska.

Too bad Daisy can’t even get out of Dodge without incident. By the time she boards a ship for Alaska, she’s got a trail of new troubles behind her, and suddenly Otter Bite is sounding pretty good. But the vessel turns into her own personal Titanic when a series of close encounters confirms her terrible taste in men-including one very good looking bad luck charm named Max Kendall. She vows to dedicate the rest of her days to chowders and brulée. Yet even Alaska isn’t far enough away to shake the memories of the sexy shipmate who rocked her cabin-and her world. Molly Reviews: Learning to Love Cats by K.M. Mahoney

Blurb:
It isn’t exactly a match made in heaven.

Mike isn’t much of an animal lover, but his sister insists that every little boy needs a pet. Which is how Mike finds himself sitting in a veterinary office, trying to explain the facts of life to his four-year-old nephew while holding a dead hamster in a shoebox. It’s not one of his finer moments. So, of course, that’s when he encounters the cute, shy and utterly lust-worthy Riley Laytham.

When they meet up again, the chemistry is explosive. Even cat scratches, rampant allergies and siblings with incredibly bad timing aren’t enough to deter Mike. Riley is worth any amount of trouble, and Mike is going to prove it to him.

Riley is pretty sure Mike is unique. Whether that’s good or bad is still up for debate, although he does have to admit that the sexy man’s persistence in the face of adversity and embarrassing situations is oddly endearing. Riley believes love takes time to grow, but maybe for Mike he’ll make an exception…even if Mike staunchly declares that he doesn’t like cats.
