After their trip to Berinias is delayed, thoughts turn to both love and the future. Ocania, a day of love for mated pairs, gives the men a treasured day off. But with love in the air, all the Avanti seem to feel the pull, pushing some to go after those they want and try to fulfil their hearts desire.
May your journey be swift and uneventful, may you all get one step closer to your truemates and may good triumph over evil. Remember love conquers all.
This short falls just before book 3.
Where To Buy:
This was the sweetest Valentine’s Day (though the holiday is called something else on this world) story I’ve read in a while. I loved how Ocania was explained in the story and the meaning behind it. I enjoyed getting to see Kel and Corin again and continuing to be in love and growing their family. Plus seeing Tate and Dariux again and proving they are still secure together despite Tate’s fears of meeting the family. I loved getting to see the byplay between Dax and Kastain, and Bell and Niko. Those four are so much fun together and I can’t wait to read each of their individual stories. I think what I liked best about this story was, despite it being a holiday story and quite sweet, there was still progress in the overall story arc of the Clan tensions and political climate of the world. The seemingly fluff story still had a purpose in the whole series. However you can enjoy this as a standalone story as well if you want some nice Valentine’s Day romance.
