Blurb:
Have you ever wondered what happens to the relationship when age-play couples decide to have children? Derek and Rachel Parker have been married for five years, and while Rachel adores her ‘Daddy’, and being his little girl, she longs to have a baby of her own.
When she finally becomes pregnant, Rachel is overjoyed, but all too soon she begins to realize that a baby changes everything. How can she still be her ‘Daddy’s little girl’ when she becomes a mother herself? None of the pregnancy advice books say anything about maintaining a healthy age-play/BDSM relationship in the face of real parenthood.
Derek, too, finds himself tormented by sudden fears and doubts. He loves caring for Rachel as a BDSM ‘Daddy’, but this will be different. He’s going to be a real father to a real infant; wholly dependent on him for round-the-clock care and nurturing. Can he do it?
‘Expecting it All’ takes a deeper look into the psychology and love behind age-play. Don’t miss this opportunity to get a front row seat as we watch two beloved characters from the Passion Series have their new, exciting futures shaped by childbirth and parenthood, through tears and laughter. All the characters you know and love from Grant’s powerful ensemble cast make an appearance in this, the fifth, fun, and light-hearted installment of Livia Grant’s best-selling series! Best of all, this book can be read as a standalone!

Review:
I’m going to start by saying this is part of a series and I haven’t read any of the other books in the series. It works well as a standalone though the couple is already together and well established at the beginning of the book. There’s a great cast of characters already established and they have such a strong bond it’s kind of fun coming in a few books in and seeing that still hold true after the series has been going. The characters are engaging and make me want to get to know them more. I want Chamberlin’s story. He was a quick flash in the story but he was intriguing and definitely has a sense of honor I want to know more about.
I absolutely loved how Ms. Grant approached age play in this story. She talks about the dynamic in a way that is both titillating when it should be and full of emotion throughout. She also delves a bit into the why behind Rachel and Derek’s brand of age play. However she does it in a way that doesn’t make it sound like she’s spouting off facts and research.
The struggles these two face are so heartbreaking but also something many parents can relate to regardless if they participate in age play themselves or not. Derek is like so many dads when they wonder how they fit into the role of parenthood when the mother does most of the work at first. The way the couple handles this on top of maintaining their power exchange dynamic is beautifully written. My only complain it’s really a complaint at all. I just want more!
